CENTRAL PARK MINI SESSION
FAQ
What will the lighting be like?
While we can't predict the weather, assuming it's a sunny day: the closer to sunrise or sunset we are, the more soft and pastel the colors will be; the closer to midday we are, the brighter the sun/photos will be.
What happens if we need to reschedule? Or cancel?
Rescheduled sessions will incur a new retainer fee to book a new mini session time slot. Rescheduled sessions are not guaranteed to have availability for the same location/time slot. If you cannot make it to any of the other mini session times, you will be required to upgrade to a private photo session ($750 minimum and will be subject to my availability, which may not be till after the holidays)
Cancelled sessions are not eligible for refunds of any kind, for any reason.
What happens in the case of fog or other bad weather?
Due to the nature of mini sessions, we will continue forward with the session as planned in foggy, overcast, or other unfavorable weather conditions.
The only time we will reschedule for weather-related reasons is if the conditions are unsafe for you/us or for my gear. You will not be charged a new retainer fee if this is the case.
What happens if we are late or if we miss our session?
Due to the nature of mini sessions, I cannot extend your time or offer you another time slot if you are late or miss your session; there is no guarantee that we will be able to meet the 20 photo minimum for sessions that start late.
No refunds of any kind will be offered for late or missed sessions.

Can we bring our pets?
Absolutely! I love meeting & photographing your furry family members! :)
I highly recommend you bring a friend who will not be photographed to your session to help watch your furry friend.
Any tips for photographing kiddos in a short amount of time?
You will receive a posing & style guide that has a section on this with specific tips & tricks!
Ultimately, it comes down to preparation, being on time, and not surprising your little ones with a ton of new experiences at once.
Practice smiling to phrases like "Smile, Say cheese," or "Hi [name]" and take them to our location ahead of time - especially if it's a place they are unfamiliar with. It's very common for kids to get very overwhelmed and upset at new locations doing new things
