What is a mini session?
A mini session is a shorter photography session, perfect for couples and families who want beautiful portraits and lasting memories without booking a full session.
What is included in my mini session?
Your session includes 20 minutes of outdoor photography at San Mateo Central Park, posing guidance, natural candid moments, 10 professionally edited digital images, and a private online gallery.
Can I purchase additional photos?
Yes! Additional edited images and the full gallery are available for an extra fee. Please contact blonegallery@gmail.com for pricing.
What should I bring to my session?
Just bring yourself and the people you love! You may also bring small accessories, such as a hat, jacket, or blanket, if you'd like to add variety to your photographs. Please keep in mind that mini sessions move quickly, so simple accessories work best.
How many people can join the session?
Each session includes up to 5 people. Additional people are $30 per person. Please email blonegallery@gmail.com before booking larger groups. Dogs are welcome if permitted at the location and must remain on a leash where required.
What kinds of photos can we take during the session?
We'll capture family or couple portraits, individual photos, and natural candid moments, depending on your group and the time available. For multiple locations, outfit changes, or more variety, a full session may be a better fit.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled session so you're ready to begin on time. Mini sessions are scheduled in specific time slots, and late arrivals may reduce your photography time. Additional time can not be added for late arrivals!
When will I receive my photos?
Your edited images will be delivered within 1–2 weeks through a private online gallery.
Are the photos professionally edited?
Yes! All included images are professionally edited in my signature style, with a focus on natural colors and timeless portraits.
What should we wear?
I recommend coordinating your outfits rather than wearing exactly the same colors. Neutral and earthy tones, such as cream, beige, white, soft brown, and muted pastels, look beautiful against the park's natural greenery. Avoid large logos, distracting graphics, and overly busy patterns. Choose comfortable outfits that reflect your personality and make you feel confident.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Outdoor sessions depend on the weather. Cloudy conditions are usually fine and can create beautiful, soft light. If rain or unsafe weather makes the session unsuitable, we'll discuss rescheduling options based on availability.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please let me know as soon as possible if your plans change. The booking fee is non-refundable, but it may be applied toward a future session within 6 months. Cancellations or rescheduling requests within 72 hours of your session incur a $50 rescheduling fee. All changes are subject to availability.
When should I book my mini session?
Availability is limited, and popular time slots may fill quickly. Booking early is recommended to secure your preferred time.
What if I can't make any of the available dates or times?
Please email blonegallery@gmail.com to ask about future availability. Additional dates may be offered but are not guaranteed.
How do i book?
Choose an available date and time through the booking page and follow the reservation and payment instructions. You'll receive your session details once your booking is confirmed.
